[$NDMEME] NDMEME second on-chain vote

Authors

Last month we released the $NDMEME on-chain voting module and asked you to choose how you would like us to direct the liquidity to the project (see more info here).

This time we are back with a second vote for our dear $NDMEME holders.

Some context

The vote is about choosing our strategy regarding expansion to the N3 chain.

As you know, there is an official bridge between N3 and NeoX. However, having $NDMEME listed on this bridge will take some time, and other bigger tokens will be added before ours, so we thought about another way to expand without waiting. The solution we propose is to deploy our token on N3 and allow users to bridge tokens by doing the bridging transactions manually (a bit like what's done for migration between NEO legacy and N3).

This vote is about choosing between these 2 options regarding the $NDMEME strategy for N3 expansion:

  • Wait for the official bridge solution
  • Deploy now with our proposed temporary solution

We know the solution isn't perfect, but for us, it could bring some benefits.

Possible benefits

Our proposed solution is motivated by the following possible benefits:

  • By doing this, we will be able to have a pair on the Flamingo orderbook at launch (something we validated with them).
  • We could benefit from the GasBot bot on Discord, which is only available for N3 now.
  • It could help us reach a bigger user base, as for now, the one on NeoX is still small.
  • Better integration with NEO tools, for example, on the nDapp tokens page.
  • [REDACTED]

Possible drawbacks

Of course this solution isn't perfect and can come with some drawbacks:

  • No real-time bridging transactions. This could cause some prices to not sync between chains, but we are really confident we will have a solution to sync prices between chains before the launch.
  • Later harder official bridge integration? We already reached out to the bridge maintainers to ask for the correct requirements so we can smoothly join the bridge later when they are ready.

Conclusion

This is not an exhaustive list of the possible pros and cons of such a choice, but you can also join us on Discord to discuss It and also give ideas about things you think could deserve voting on the NDMEME project.

Now It's time for you to vote.
